In the simplest case, you have one username in Kadermanager and are a member of one team. Managing your login credentials is easy and straightforward. Adding your other teams and groups to Kadermanager is simple as well. It's the easiest if you use the same username for all of your teams, or merge your different usernames together on the My Profile page. It may become a bit more complicated if you're managing your children's Kadermanager teams. If a team is marked as junior team on the team's manager pages, you can add parents/guardians for the team players. Below, we gathered some interesting use cases and tips for managing your user accounts.

Player's parents/guardians

  1. Player Heidi joins team DEG
  2. DEG's manager adds Heidi's mother as Heidi's guardian
  3. DEG's manager adds Heidi's father as Heidi's guardian
Heidi's parents can log in to the team's pages with their own username and respond IN or OUT for Heidi. The parents' and players' usernames and passwords won't get confused because everyone is using their own username. You should utilize guardian user accounts to make sure that your team notifications always reach everyone important.

A child playing in two teams

  1. Heidi plays in DEG and her parents have guardian accounts at DEG.
  2. Heidi joins also team SG Unterrath
  3. SG Unterrath's manager adds Heidi's mom and dad as her guardians.
  4. a) Heidi's usernames for DEG and SG Unterrath are merged to one username
    b) Heidi's mother merges her guardian accounts (DEG + SG U)
    c) Heidi's father merges his guardian accounts (DEG + SG U)
Now Heidi's parents can log in to both DEG and SG Unterrath using their own guardian accounts. It's easy to switch from one team to another using the navigation menu. The parents need to log in only once to access both teams.

Two children playing in the same team

  1. Heidi plays in DEG and her parents have guardian accounts.
  2. Heidi's sister Andrea joins DEG as well
  3. DEG's manager adds Heidi's and Andrea's parents also as Andrea's guardians.
  4. a) Heidi's and Andrea's mother merges her two guardian accounts
    b) Heidi's and Andrea's father merges his two guardian accounts
As a result, Heidi's parents see their both children's teams when they log in with their guardian account. Switching between Heidi's and Andrea's profile is easy using the team listing in the top navigation.

A guardian is also a coach in his child's team

  1. Heidi plays in DEG and her parents have guardian accounts
  2. Heidi's father steps up and becomes the team's coach. He gets a username for himself (to be able to log in as a coach).
  3. Heidi's father merges his guardian and normal user account
Now Heidi's father can log in as a guardian or coach, as needed. Switching between usernames is easy, using the team list in the top navigation.

Guardian plays in another team

  1. Heidi plays in team DEG
  2. Heidi's mother plays in team DEG Puckies
  3. DEG's manager adds Heidi's grand father and mother as Heidi's guardians.
  4. Heidi's mother merges her accounts (at DEG and DEG Puckies)
Now Heidi's mother can manage both her usernames and has to log in only once. Switching between usernames is easy using the team list in the top navigation.
